“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus,
giving thanks to God the Father through him.” Colossians 3:17

iRace4Life.org is an organization started by iRacers with the purpose of bringing awareness to the great needs around the world. It is our desire to help other non-profit organizations and their missions by contributing to them financially while enjoying the simulation we all enjoy: iRacing!

iRace4Life.org brings awareness to needs by sponsoring the annual iRace4Life.org iRacing Seminar in Dallas every year and by the “iRace – iWin – iGive” campaign.

What is iRace4Life.org?

iRace4Life.org is an organization that I started in 2010 that combines two of my passions: iRacing and people. I love to race and iRacing gives me the fix for both speed and competition. I also love people and iRace4Life.org is a way that I can help people.

The idea for iRace4Life.org came one evening while I was painting my Class A Impala. I was trying to think of a “sponsor” I could use on my car that was both real and purposeful. Why not “create” a virtual sponsor that actually had a purpose? A sponsor that would give my hobby, iRacing, a purpose beyond the enjoyment I was personally getting from it. Why not have a sponsor that actually helped PEOPLE? That is when iRace4Life.org was born.

How does iRace4Life.org help people?

Because of the nature of my job, I am constantly in contact with viable and creditable non-profit organizations that have amazing missions to help and serve people. iRace4Life.org does not accept donations from drivers for the organization they want to give to, instead it acts as a “bridge” between organizations that help others and the hobby we all enjoy. Team members can give to one of our featured organizations OR to any organization they would like to support. iRace4Life.org’s mission is to raise the awareness of the needs of people to fellow iRacers through iRacing seminars, hosted races, hosted tournaments, and paint schemes.

What does it mean to join iRace4Life.org?

Simple. When a member wins a race, they commit to giving to a charity that iRace4Life.org has featured that month or to a charity of their choice.

“You mean, when I win a race, I have to give money to someone?”

Yep. That’s right. But look at it this way, when you win a race, someone gets a meal. Someone gets some much needed water, shelter, or medical attention. I like to see it as an excuse to GIVE. When I know that someone else is going to benefit when I win a race, I am actually more motivated to win. I am not just winning for the sake of winning, I am winning to help others!

What are the different type of iRace4Life.org Team Members?

Presently there are four levels of team membership:

• Member: These members commit to donating $5 to our featured organization or any non-profit organization they choose to support each time they win a race in an official iRacing series (points race) or in an official league race.

• Pro Members: These members commit to donating $10 to our featured organization or any non-profit organization they choose to support each time they win a race in an official iRacing series (points race) or in an official league race.

• Elite Members: These members commit to donating $15 or more to iRace4Life.org’s featured charity or any non-profit organization they choose to support each time they win an official iRacing Series race or official league race.

• Platinum Members: These members commit to donating $15 or more to iRace4Life.org’s featured charity or any non-profit organization they choose to support each time they win an official iRacing Series race or official league race. They also give $5 when they win a pole or get a top-5.

All members are given to opportunity to give when they win a pole or a top-5. This option can be seen when a member submits their win on this site (in the “member’s area”).

How do I join?

Fill out a membership form. It can be found HERE.

How does iRace4Life.org know when I win a race?

We use the HONOR system. Members are asked to report wins to the iRace4Life.org admin (me) and I will post the member’s win on www.irace4life.org. We will keep the win totals updated on the site so we can all see how much we are doing to help those in need. iRace4Life.org does not receive the donations directly from the racers, racers are directed to our featured organization’s website where they can give directly to the organization. Racers may also give to a charity of their choice.

Is iRace4Life.org an iRacing Team?

No. We are just a bunch of iRacers that have committed to give when we win.

Again, thanks for your interest in joining this growing team. I hope to meet you soon on the track!
